Rochester based Illustrator, Aaron Humby has been developing his skills in pop contemporary art for the past several years. He originally started out as a young kid who just enjoyed doodling, reading comic books and watching cartoons. He has grown older but never lost his creative spark.
The art has evolved over the years, taking on many different shapes. His whimsical ideas usually occur very suddenly, tending towards odd, unpredictable, and playful creations. Mostly resulting in colorful and offbeat sense of humor. His Inspiration is fueled by pop culture, and the things going on in the world. He has worked with various mediums from oils, acrylics to watercolors. Most recently he has been exploring his creativity through digital fabrication and manipulation. Taking on a whole new way to collage an image.
With a drive to create, he looks to help bring people a little joy and happiness. By creating the things that interest him, he is able to bring smiles to people who are interested too.
